Motorola has launched the Moto G Turbo Edition in India. The Turbo is a major boost from the Moto G 3rd Generation in terms of processor. The Moto G Turbo is powered by a 1.5GHz Octa-Core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with Adreno 405 GPU. Also it has the same 2470 mAh battery as Moto G3, but the Turbo comes with Turbo charging capability. The Turbo edition comes with the Moto Turbo charger which can give the mobile 6 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes, as claimed by Motorola. Motorola launches Moto X Style in India, price starting from Rs. 29,999

After bring the new Moto X Play to India, Motorola has now launched the Moto X Style. The all new Moto X Style packs a 5.7 inch QHD LCD display with Gorilla glass protection. Moto X Style is powered by 1.8GHz hexa-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset with Adreno 428 GPU and 3GB RAM. It comes in two variants of 16GB and 32GB internal storage which is expandable upto 128 GB with a microSD card. Moto X Style running on Android 5.1.1 out of the box. The Moto devices are known for their Nexus like pure andorid experience and quick updates. The black and white color variants will be available in India. With the Moto Maker not being made available for India, the back covers will soon be available for purchase. But we really doubt if the leather backs will ever make it to India. It will be water resistant like the other Moto devices. It is a single SIM device and supports 4G LTE network.

Moto X Style comes with ” World’s fastest Turbo Charging Technology” which Motorola says it can give 10 hours of battery life from a 15 minute charge. The price of Moto X Style in India is Rs. 29,999 for the 16GB model and Rs. 31,999 for the 32GB Model. The 64 GB is not yet announced in India. The smartphone will be available exclusively on Flipkart and pre-orders start from October 15.  Flipkart and Motorola have also got some launch offers for customer which included exchange offers, cashback, Rs 5000 MakemyTrip vouchers along with Rs 1000 FlipKart vouchers.

From the position of a flagship device, it will compete with OnePlus 2, Zenfone 2 and the Lenovo Vibe Shot. But it will be the costliest of all the competitors in the segment.

Android 5.1 coming to Moto X and Moto E 4G LTE 2nd gen

After about 8 months of launch, finally Andoird 5.0 is breaking the 10% adoption rate. As more and more devices are lapping up the Lollipop, Motorola has also been quick to give the update, sometimes even faster than a Nexus device. Now the Moto X and Moto E 4G 2nd Generation mobiles are next in line to get the update. The update will start rolling out in Brazil and soon will make it to the rest of the world. The 5.1 update fixes some bugs and adds stability to the system. It also brings in a few little features like the HD voice support. Apart from the Android update, Motorola plans to add a few little features on its own. 4G variant of Moto E 2nd Gen is now available for preorder

Moto E 2nd generation mobiles were launched in India a few weeks back for Rs 6999 through flipkart. Now the 4G variant is also available for pre-order. It is priced at Rs 7999 and will ship from 23rd April 2015. At Rs 7999, it is the cheapest Android smarphone with 4G connectivity. The Lumia 638 4G mobile which is available for Rs 6300, could be a close competitor for Moto E. The 4G variant of Moto E ruins on a Quad core CPU Snapdragon 410 clocked at 1.2 GHz.
